I stepped into my first yoga class with a group of school friends as a teenager. I don't remember what we did, but I do remember how comfortable the teacher made me feel. This was about 20 years ago and still motivates me to create an environment where you feel safe, comfortable and free to explore what yoga has to offer.
Yoga has supported me in many ways, and I have explored different elements and styles over the years. I began teaching in 2015, my teacher training was with Kate Ellis and Catherine Annis at triyoga in London. I had the pleasure of returning as an assistant and student mentor for two years on the following intake. Since then, I have pursued training and self-study that explores accessible yoga, inclusivity and body acceptance in yoga, yin and restorative yoga, working with trauma, yoga therapy and functional movement.
The teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, Sandra Sabitini, Kate Ellis, Catherine Annis, Donna Farhi, Peter Blackaby and Tanya Love continue to influence and inspire my practice.
I believe yoga is for every body, and I work to keep my classes accessible and inclusive. In my classes and events, I teach hatha, yin, restorative, Scaravelli inspired and chair yoga. I encourage you to listen to your body and explore movement that feels good.
Please take a look at my offerings, book a class, event or reach out if you have questions, I would love to hear from you.
