Relax and Restore for the Weekend
A Friday night workshop
A monthly workshop dedicated to deeply nourishing relaxation for the body and mind, designed to release tension, and leave you feeling restored for the weekend. Giving time and space to the art of relaxation is an important part of a well-balanced lifestyle. In each workshop I will guide you to gently slow down; starting with gentle movement and moving into juicy restorative poses.
In Restorative Yoga, as the breath slows down, the heart rate follows and the body naturally relaxes. In passive floor-based yoga postures utilizing props such as bolsters, folded blankets and blocks, the body begins to release into the support beneath. Allowing up to 20 minutes in each posture gives us time to explore sensations and find ease in the fullness of being. Breathing techniques and meditation will be woven in to complement the relaxation.
Each workshop is limited to 12 spaces so booking is essential.
